About MDB Same Day HVAC Inc
A locally owned HVAC contractor serving Contra Costa County, available 24 hours a day.
The HVAC company that actually shows up the same day
MDB Same Day HVAC Inc is a licensed, locally owned heating and air conditioning contractor. We operate across Concord and the wider Contra Costa Countyarea — which means the homes we service are the homes in our own neighborhood.
Our name is a promise, not a slogan. When a furnace quits in January or an air conditioner gives out during a hundred-degree week in Antioch, waiting three days for an appointment isn't a real option. Our line is answered around the clock, and we dispatch for emergencies at every hour, including weekends and holidays.
We work on residential HVAC systems of every kind: complete installs and changeouts, gas furnaces and heat pumps, central air conditioning, AC repair, duct repair, new ductwork, ductless mini splits, and package units. One team, one number, the whole system.
Just as importantly, we tell you the truth about what your equipment needs. If a repair still makes sense, we make it and say so. If it doesn't, we show you the numbers on both paths and let you decide without anyone pressuring you.
Six things we do on every single call
Not aspirations — the operating rules the whole business runs on.
Answer Every Call
24 hours a day, seven days a week — a real person, not an answering service.
Price It First
A written number you approve before the work starts. No meter, no surprises.
Diagnose, Don't Guess
Electrical, refrigerant and airflow tested before anything is recommended.
Do It to Code
Every install completed to current California code and verified under load.
Say It Plainly
We explain what failed and why in language that actually makes sense.
Fix It Once
Common failure parts on the truck so most calls finish on the first visit.
A better service experience, by design
Promises are easy to make. These are the ones you can hold us to.
Four steps, start to finish
Predictable enough that you always know what happens next.
You Call
Any hour. Tell us what the system is doing and we book the soonest window.
We Diagnose
A real test of the electrical, refrigerant and airflow — not a visual guess.
You Approve
A written price with every discount applied. Nothing happens until you say go.

Performance measured and confirmed before we leave the property.
